CREATE A VISUAL MAP (OR SEVERAL)

“If you talk about it, it’s a dream. If you envision it, it’s possible. If you schedule it, it’s real.” – Anthony Robbins.

Why should you make a map … or several maps?

You must make choices, ask yourself difficult questions, move the goals around, and organise them by priorities until they fit in or don´t. It creates tension and, hopefully, more clarity once your internal battle is won.

    • – Putting goals on a map makes these goals time bonded
    • – They are no longer just in your head but on a map … they become clear directions.
    • – A map is a limited space …
you cannot put too many goals simultaneously at the same level of importance, at the same time.
    • – Which ones are really IMPORTANT & URGENT?
    • – Which ones will be the first steps to achieve the more important one
    • Then, go back to your list and adapt time and importance.

You can choose to add these Goals on this map (with a pen, post it, etc.):

    • – Put RED Dots for the TOP 5 + Name of the goal in CAPITAL LETTERS + Date (MM/YY).
    • – BLUE Dots for TOP 6-10 + Name of the goal + Date (MM/YY).
    • – GREEN DOTS for the other goals + Name of the goal + Date (MM/YY)

This will help you visualise and balance +/- IMPORTANT and Short/Long term.

Not the most straightforward exercise. That´s why it´s a must!

CONGRATULATE YOURSELF ON THIS FIRST LIST!

“You are happy only when you are doing something that is moving you toward something that you want.
The great question then become: What are your goals? What purpose are you aiming at?
Where do you want to end up at the end of the day?” – Brian Tracy.
