INTRODUCTION

“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” – Anatole France.

Many words come to mind when we talk about making positive long-term changes.

We all have hopes, dreams, visions, ideas, desires, expectations, intentions, objectives, targets, outcomes, aims, and aspirations (feel free to add and share your own words).

Learning about us and our past experiences is an essential piece of the process, which is why we have worked first on the following:

  • Releasing some negative emotions.
  • Reviewing some limiting beliefs and limiting decisions.
  • We also discussed your list of strengths and blind spots and how they work together.
  • Listing and defining your personal values by order of priority.
  • Checking where you are in your evolution of values (spiral dynamics).
  • Seeing where you live by your values and where you don’t.
  • How satisfied are you in each area of your life?
  • Listing your roles.

Please take a moment to look at all you have already worked on because now you will use it as the foundation to build your goals and future. Throughout these exercises, we will get more clarity about what we want:

Goals are ambiguous things that we struggle to define and work toward.

Our work will provide the framework to create a path to where you want to end up.

Be sure to share your tips and learnings along the way.
